Dr. Brock received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Willamette University in 1998 and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2005. He completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS in 2010. He then went to Stanford University Hospital, CA, to complete a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery in 2011. Dr. Brock has been board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 2014.
Dr. Brock and his family relocated to this area from Albuquerque, NM. The Brocks love to take advantage of the outdoors, which is their primary attraction to western Colorado. They look forward to spending more time together camping, hiking, snowboarding, fishing and playing basketball.
When asked why he chose Grand River Health, he said, “In addition to an improved quality of life, I am looking forward to connecting with this community and establishing relationships, something that is much easier to do in a small community.” When asked about his philosophy about practicing medicine, he remarked, “I believe the key is making a good connection by being attentive and listening to the patient. After establishing a diagnosis, I like to present all available treatment options, so we can determine the most appropriate plan to best achieve their health goals. It is important the patient is involved in the decision-making process so that they are invested in their care.”
Dr. Brock began seeing patients in January of 2019
