Dr. Hanly attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University, did his general surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and did a fellowship in minimally invasive & bariatric surgery at Duke University. He served for five years in the U.S. Air Force, and has served on the surgical faculty at both the Uniformed Services University and Duke University. He is licensed in Colorado and is a Board Certified fellow by the American college of Surgeons. He serves on the faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and joined the practice in Grand Junction in 2010.
