Dr. Goralka studied Physiology and Italian Literature at the University of California, Davis. He went on to study medicine at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and served his residencies at Loyola University Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital. Dr. Goralka is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He was the founding member of the Med/Peds Hospitalist Group at Aspen Valley Hospital in 2007 and oversaw the expansion of the group to include three full time Med/Peds Hospitalists. The hospitalist group has been extremely successful providing excellent patient care to the full spectrum of ages in the hospital and achieving outstanding patient satisfaction scores. He provides evidence-based care that is patient-centered, compassionate and individualized.
Dr. Goralka has been married to the love of his life for almost 30 years, and together they have raised three children in Aspen/Snowmass. In his younger days, he was a competitive runner. Now he enjoys hiking, uphilling and mountain biking. He is also a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine.
